Our holiday property

I'm posting this pic here to record for the ages that yes, we assembled a ginger bread house in 2010 - with our friends Blake, Elena, and their daughter Olivia. The so-called "hexen haus" (thank you, Trader Joes) sadly did not survive the great Post-Christmas Cleaning Storm.

Christmas 2010: Unwrapification

Here's a few pics from Christmas morning. She scored a big haul - including a kitchen set from Grandma Lois and Grandpa Dave. Mackenzie got so many presents, she had to start outsourcing the unwrapping duties. Seriously. It's all downhill from here.

My Thomas the Tank Engine Birthday

So a few weeks ago, Mackenzie was in charge of selecting a cake for my birthday. And evidently, she thought it was an appropriate occasion for a Thomas the Tank Engine cake. Who am I to complain? She got to keep the the little decorate train, too.
